House of hopeWe’re delighted to have awarded over £100,000 to The House of Hope, helping support a charity with a truly inspiring mission.

Founded by Lisa Fleming after her secondary breast cancer diagnosis in 2017, The House of Hope was created from personal experience, courage and a determination to make life better for others facing a similar journey.

Lisa turned an incredibly difficult diagnosis into something positive and powerful — a place of comfort, connection and hope for people impacted by breast cancer. The charity offers access to holistic therapies, wellbeing services and emotional support in a warm, welcoming environment designed to complement medical treatment.

At The Scotto, we are proud that our players are helping to support this important work. Through their ongoing support, we can help charities like The House of Hope provide care, community and reassurance to people and families who need it most. Lisa’s vision is truly remarkable, and we are honoured to play a part in helping it grow.

Without your unwavering support, we wouldn’t have been able to establish Scotland’s first bespoke wellbeing and support centre for those impacted by breast cancer and their families. We remain deeply grateful, not only for The Scotto’s continued support, but also for the generosity of The Scotto players who make it all possible.

Lisa Fleming, House of Hope

House of Hope is a place of comfort, support and hope

The House of Hope is Scotland’s first bespoke support and wellbeing centre for anyone impacted by breast cancer.

Based in Edinburgh, it has been created as a sanctuary away from the clinical environment, offering a space where people can access support, feel understood and spend time with others who genuinely relate to what they are going through.

The charity provides funded workshops, classes, holistic therapies and support groups designed to help people feel less isolated and more empowered. Its aim is not to replace medical treatment, but to complement it by supporting emotional, mental and physical wellbeing in a more personal and welcoming setting.

The House of Hope also recognises that breast cancer affects more than the individual diagnosed, extending support to families and loved ones too. At its heart, the charity is about restoring connection, dignity and hope at a time when people may feel overwhelmed, frightened or alone.
